Reddit expands moderation tools test
Reddit is continuing its test of its new Rules Hub with a range of AI-powered moderation tools. Moderators will be able to choose which rules will be automatic, decide what happens when a rule is triggered, preview it, and more. Reddit is also looking to make it easier for people to join Reddit communities with improved detection of harmful content. The platform is also putting stricter restrictions on its API usage to protect the “unique value of its user insights” – aka protecting the insights provided by its communities from turning up on AI platforms instead.
